In my Dreams

I am in a relationship now. It’s too soon, I know, but no one can predict such things. What matters is that I found a sort of happiness.

He said to me:

“I’ve never dreamed like I’ve been dreaming now.”

Let me explain that he wasn’t being romantic or whatsoever. He was telling a simple fact: he has been dreaming most of the nights.

I remember to tell him that I dream a lot too. Stranger than dreaming, is having a recurrent dream. I never confessed, for obvious reasons, that in my dreams I am always standing at a station – taller than I actually am, thinner than I actually am, younger than I actually am, prettier than I actually am, wealthier than I actually am – waiting for a train that never comes.
